Hadley presentation to share military family's perspectives of work, family, leadership

The 2015 Richard A. Hadley APSAC Professional Development Series on March 31 will involve a married couple discussing their perspectives on working and family life in the context of the military. A live stream of the presentation will be available.

Army Capt. Matt Pratt and Lisa Pratt will lead the presentation, which will take place at 2-4 p.m. in Lawson Computer Science Building, Room 1142. The presentation is titled "Leaving a Legacy: Perspectives on Work, Family and Leadership from a Military Family."

Those interested in attending must register in advance here. The presentation will be streamed live here. It is being presented by the Administrative and Professional Staff Advisory Committee, and all A/P staff are eligible to attend.

Matt Pratt, who has served in Kirkuk Province, Iraq, and Mosul, Iraq, is enrolled in the Master of Human Resource Management graduate program in Krannert School of Management. When he receives his degree, he will return to West Point, his alma mater, to serve as an instructor. Pratt was commissioned as an Army officer from West Point in 2006.

Lisa Pratt, who has a bachelor's degree in visual and performing arts from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, is a contemporary Christian and country music vocal artist. She has performed at several notable military functions and on the televised competition "Operation Rising Star."
