Fidelity Retirement Plan participants to begin receiving revenue credits

January 12, 2015

Human Resources is announcing the first distribution of the revenue credit program from Fidelity.

Purdue employees have been earning revenue credits based on certain investment choices made in the plans with Fidelity. These revenue credits are generally payments made by individual mutual fund companies to Fidelity to enable the use of their funds on Fidelity's platform. Certain funds may or may not pay credits, and the credits can change over time. These credits are being given back to Purdue employees to offset investment fees.

Beginning in 2015, Fidelity will allocate revenue credits on a quarterly basis directly to participant accounts. Any credits allocated will appear on the quarterly benefits statement. The credits will be invested in the fund to which they relate and allocated proportionally to the sources associated with such fund for each participant.
