Faculty, staff invited to use Amazon store's services

January 22, 2015

Amazon@Purdue, Amazon's first-ever staffed order pickup and drop-off location, soft opened for a "sneak peek" in the Krach Leadership Center this week, and faculty and staff are encouraged to be the first to take advantage of its services.

The location will bring Purdue students a convenient way to quickly pick up and return their Amazon packages. Plus, Amazon Student and Prime members will receive free one-day pickup on over a million items.

During the next couple of weeks, students and staff members can visit purdue.amazon.com to request an invitation to the sneak peek of Amazon@Purdue. Those who request an invitation will receive one on a first-come, first-served basis to the email address associated with their Amazon account.

Once the location holds its grand opening in February, all students, faculty and staff will be able to ship their Amazon orders to the location.

A second Amazon@Purdue location is slated to open this summer on the first floor of the Purdue Memorial Union.
