APSAC receives survey results

February 16, 2015

The Administrative and Professional Staff Advisory Committee (APSAC) has received results from its completed survey, which sought to gauge the group's effectiveness in communicating with colleagues and meeting their needs. The survey was conducted online during November and December.

Of the 142 A/P staff members who completed the survey, among other results, 83 percent said the committee communicates well through The Sentinel, APSAC's regular newsletter. More than 75 percent said that the newsletter provides helpful information about APSAC-sponsored events, employee benefits and professional development opportunities.

Respondents indicated that they would like APSAC to pursue providing more professional development opportunities, inquiring about additional voluntary benefits as well as addressing other concerns.

In the coming weeks, the survey results will help guide APSAC toward its future plans, said Andrea Thomas, APSAC chair.
