Provost to speak on teaching, learning at Teaching Academy induction

Provost Deba Dutta will address teaching and learning as the featured speaker for the 18th annual Purdue Teaching Academy induction and recognition ceremony today (Sept. 24) in Purdue Memorial Union's North Ballroom.

A reception begins at 6:30 p.m. and will be followed by the ceremony at 7 p.m. to honor 11 Fellows and Associate Fellows selected for their outstanding achievements and commitment to teaching excellence.

The induction concludes Teaching Academy Day, during which 17 Academy Fellows will share insights on more than 20 teaching topics. The sessions run 9 a.m. through 3:50 p.m. in Stewart Center, Room 218ABC. A full list of topics, presenters and times is available at www.purdue.edu/cie/teachingacademy.
