First issue of Purdue service-learning journal published

September 5, 2014

The service-learning branch of Purdue's Center of Instructional Excellence has published the first issue of its Purdue Journal of Service-Learning and International Engagement. The inaugural issue is available here.

The Purdue Journal of Service-Learning (PJSL), planned for annual publication, is a multidisciplinary open access journal available in print and online. It is dedicated to undergraduate and graduate students who conduct projects with strong service-learning and academic civic engagement aspects. By involving students in an intensive writing activity and showcasing the opportunities available at Purdue, the journal will enhance the use and effectiveness of service-learning as a high-impact learning methodology.
