WBAA spring member drive ends today

April 4, 2014

Today (April 4) is the final day of the 2014 spring member drive for WBAA, public radio from Purdue.

WBAA is trying to raise $215,000 during its eight-day campaign. The station is working hard to increase its level of listener support as only 6 percent of WBAA listeners support the 90-year-old station financially.

In addition to paying for programming costs, WBAA will use donations generated throughout the spring member drive to help pay for more than $300,000 in needed technology and equipment updates and repairs.

Contributions can be made by phone at 49-61999 through 7 p.m. today or online at any time.  If you are a Purdue employee, convenient automatic payroll deductions can be designated when a contribution is made to WBAA. More information is available at www.wbaa.org.
