Security feedback panel to present report, recommendations at April 30 President’s Forum

The Purdue community is encouraged to join President Mitch Daniels and the members of the emergency preparedness and security feedback panel for a President's Forum on April 30 in Purdue Memorial Union, South Ballroom. The forum, scheduled for 8-9 a.m., will focus on the final report and recommendations of the panel, which was formed after the Jan. 21 shooting on the West Lafayette campus.

Patricia Hart, professor of Spanish and the panel chair, will lead the presentation along with panel members Carol Shelby, senior director of environmental health and public safety; John Cox, chief of police; and Steve Schultz, legal counsel. The panel was charged by Provost Tim Sands and Treasurer Al Diaz with evaluating feedback on emergency preparedness and making recommendations for potential improvements in process and protocol.

The forum will be webcast via Windows Media Live Stream at www.kaltura.com/tiny/z0mgo and accessible from the Purdue home page.
