Purdue Postdoctoral Association dinner set for June 5

The Purdue Postdoctoral Association is inviting all at Purdue to its annual dinner at 5:30 p.m. June 5. Reservations are needed by May 29.

The dinner, in Purdue Memorial Union's West Faculty Lounge, will have a pasta bella noce buffet menu and a cash bar.

The event speaker will be Gerhard Klimeck, professor of electrical and computer engineering, the Reilly Director of the Center for Predictive Materials and Devices and director of the Network for Computational Nanotechnology, with a presentation titled "Mythbusting Scientific Knowledge Transfer with NanoHUB."

The cost is adults and teens, $17; children ages 3-12, $8.50; children under 3, free.  Checks (made payable to Purdue University) are preferred; cash is also accepted. Mail or deliver payment to Sharyl Neibert (Office of Research Administration, Hovde Hall, Room 334) by May 29.  Indicate the names of attendees and put "PPDA dinner" in the check's memo line.
