Plot rental available in Purdue Village Gardens

Purdue faculty and staff have the opportunity to rent garden plots in the Purdue Village Gardens beginning April 14.

The 2014 gardening season will open in April and will end on October 1, 2014. Approximately 200 plots, each 30 by 30 feet, are available for rent in the community garden, located across Airport Road from Purdue Village.

Notification of the official date gardeners can begin planting will be sent via email once the date has been determined. Anyone renting a plot can use it from April through October for any type of gardening. As stipulated by the USDA, all seeds planted must be seeds that are purchased in the United States.

Garden plots cost $40 each. Payment may be made by cash, credit card or check (made payable to Purdue University) at the Purdue Village Community Center.
