DiscoverU to highlight undergraduate researchers

April 7, 2014

Top undergraduate research will be on display and up for prize money Tuesday (April 8) during the DiscoverU Undergraduate Research Poster Symposium, presented by the Honors College.

Student applications have been approved, and faculty judges from each college/school will begin their review at 2 p.m. The symposium will be in Purdue Memorial Union's North and South Ballrooms. Entrants will be present for the two-hour judging period.

A reception hour will start at 4 p.m., followed by an award ceremony at 5-6 p.m. Each college/school participating as a partner will award $200 for first prize, $150 for second and $100 for third. The Honors College will name three Best in Show winners, and Purdue University Libraries will name three Abstract winners. The entire event is free and open to the public.
