Faculty, staff invited to OVPR's Education and Outreach Expo
The Office of the Vice President for Research is hosting an Education and Outreach Expo from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Thursday (March 13) in Stewart Center, Rooms 302-306.
The expo is being held to assist faculty and staff who will be writing grant proposals to better leverage existing campus resources for broader impact of their research. Federal funding agencies such as the National Science Foundation are placing an increased emphasis on ensuring that funded research projects have the strongest possible potential for societal impacts.
The expo will have more than 30 booths with representatives from campus programs and institutional resources. A virtual Rolodex of education and outreach partners for research proposals can be accessed at http://catalog.e-digitaleditions.com/i/256966.
No registration is required. For more information, contact Sally Bond at firstname.lastname@example.org.
