UR Global seeking students to mentor international students

UR Global is recruiting current students to mentor new international students in fall 2013.

UR Global is a student organization that pairs student mentors with new international student mentees to help with their transition into life at Purdue.

Students interested in applying to serve as a mentor must attend one of the following callout sessions:

* Today (Jan. 23) -- 6 p.m., Stanley Coulter Hall, Room 231.

* Tuesday (Jan. 29) -- 6 p.m., Shreve Hall, Jade Room (downstairs).

* Jan. 31 (Th) -- at 6 p.m., Shreve Hall, Jade Room (downstairs). 

A successful applicant must be a highly motivated leader with a passion for helping others and learning about other cultures. Applicants should have lived in University Residences sometime during their college career for at least one semester and must have a cumulative GPA of 2.0.

Applications will be accepted at www.housing.purdue.edu/urglobal through Feb. 1.
