Promotion and tenure forum postponed
March 4, 2013
A forum at which faculty members are invited to provide feedback about four topics addressed in the Promotion and Tenure Task Force Report has been rescheduled for March 25.
The forum will last from 9 to 11 a.m. in Purdue Memorial Union, North Ballroom. The forum had been scheduled for Wednesday (March 6). It is the second such forum; the first was held Feb. 25.
During the forum, there will be roundtable discussions about four topics: engagement and service, excellence and distribution of effort, evaluating teaching and learning, and the tenure clock. Tim Sands, executive vice president for academic affairs and provost, will open the forum. Refreshments will be provided.
Faculty should RSVP no later than March 18 at https://purdue.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_bE1tGnbaWc6zSF7.
Notes from the first promotion and tenure faculty forum can be found at http://www.purdue.edu/provost/documents/Notes%20from%20Faculty%20Forum%20on%20Feb%2025%202013.pdf.
