PEAP schedules trip to Indiana Grand Casino

The Purdue Employees Activity Program, a subcommittee of the Clerical and Service Staff Advisory Committee, is sponsoring a trip to Indiana Grand Casino on April 20.

The bus trip to the casino in Shelbyville, Ind., is open to all Purdue staff, faculty, family and friends age 21 and over.

Buses are scheduled to leave from the Freehafer Hall parking lot at 9:30 a.m. Participants should plan to be on the bus by 9:15 a.m. The bus is scheduled to arrive at the casino about 11:15. The bus will leave Shelbyville at 5 p.m. and arrive in West Lafayette about 6:45 p.m.

Cost is $15 per person. The registration deadline is April 15, or when the bus is full. Registration forms are available at www.purdue.edu/cssac.

The casino features 2,000 Las Vegas-style slots, electronic blackjack table games, three card poker, craps and roulette spread out over a 233,000-square-foot gaming floor. There also is an all-you-can-eat lunch buffet from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for $9.95, which is not included in the price of the trip.
