Marketing and Media offering branding workshops

The Office of Marketing and Media is hosting a series of branding workshops this spring to help departments integrate the Purdue brand into their online, print and social media communications.

The following workshop dates are available:

* Two identical sessions of "Branding Websites and Social Media" will be held April 5 and 12 in Schleman Hall, Room B038. This workshop will discuss content management, social media, driving traffic and other online topics.

* Two identical sessions of "Media Planning" will be held May 3 and 10 in Burton D. Morgan Center for Entrepreneurship, Room 129. This workshop will cover consumer behavior, media research and trends, strategy and planning.

The events, each from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., are open to anyone at Purdue. Lunch will be provided, and attendees will receive a certificate of completion.

Both workshops will include an overview of the Purdue brand—from design elements to messaging strategy. There will be practical application tutorials and a question-and-answer session.

Contact Jayne Harris at jayneharris@purdue.edu to learn more or join the workshops. Seating is limited.

Additional workshops covering the same subjects will be offered in the fall. Though official registration for the fall is not available, those interested in attending may contact Harris to be placed on a waiting list.
