Forum to discuss collaborating for Purdue's student success

A forum on March 27 will continue the Foundations of Excellence (FoE) initiative's conversation about collaborating for student success at Purdue.

The forum will be 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in Stewart Center, Fowler Hall. The forum is free and open to anyone who works at Purdue.

The forum will focus on building strong partnerships to advance student success through collaborations of faculty, staff, administrators and students.

Nationally recognized scholars -- Charles Schroeder, a professor, former chief student affairs officer at five institutions, and consultant at more than 100 colleges and universities, and Jillian Kinzie, associate director of the Indiana University-based National Survey of Student Engagement Institute -- will share their research on effective student engagement, learning and degree completion. The forum will include breakout sessions and facilitated discussions during breakout sessions about how to build strong partnerships on campus.

More information about Schroeder can be found here. More information about Kinzie can be found here.

The forum is sponsored by the Purdue University Senate, the Center for Instructional Excellence, the Purdue Academic Advising Association (PACADA), and the Foundations of Excellence sponsoring units, which are Undergraduate Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, Housing and Food Services, and Diversity and Inclusion.

Registration is limited. To do so, go to www.purdue.edu/FOE and click on the link at the bottom of the page.
