DiscoverU website promotes undergraduate research

March 18, 2013

A new website called DiscoverU is promoting Purdue's undergraduate research opportunities just in time for the Undergraduate Research Poster Symposium, which is scheduled for March 26.

The website is at www.purdue.edu/discoveru, and it promotes undergraduate research to prospective students and faculty. In addition to describing the benefits and details of undergraduate research at Purdue, it includes links to undergraduate research opportunities and events offered at the University, college and department levels.

The website launched earlier this month. It will provide ongoing and updated information for students who are looking for research opportunities.

The website also offers a link to the Journal of Purdue Undergraduate Research, which publishes Purdue undergraduates' outstanding research papers.

The website's launch precedes the Undergraduate Research Poster Symposium, which is scheduled to last from noon to 3 p.m. March 26 in Purdue Memorial Union, North and South Ballrooms. The poster symposium is open to all Purdue faculty, staff and students.

For more information, visit the DiscoverU website.
