University Residences offering short-term housing for University guests
November 6, 2012
The Division of Housing and Food Services is now offering temporary short-term housing to meet the needs of the academic campus and other University departments.
Official campus visitors now have the option to stay for three days to six months at First Street Towers and Purdue Village Apartments for a minimal fee. First Street Towers offers single, air-conditioned rooms with a private bath. Purdue Village Apartments offers fully furnished one-bedroom apartments, complete with kitchen and private bath and living room area. For more extended stays, there are unfurnished apartment options.
Ken Field, director of conferences and community relations for University Residences, says, "We are pleased to offer this service to our campus partners. The rates are competitive, and we feel this option will be beneficial to the campus community at large."
Reservations may be made by contacting Missy Redding at 49-41023 or at http://hfs.purdue.edu/guesthousing.
