Printing Services to host USPS mail seminars in December, January

The Printing Services department within Physical Facilities will host United States Postal Service (USPS) mail seminars for the University's faculty and staff in December and January.

The seminars will take place at 9-11 a.m. on Dec. 11 and at 1:30-3:30 p.m. on Jan. 10 in Stewart Center, Room 310.

Faculty and staff will learn the most cost-effective methods to mail their items in light of rising postal prices. The seminars will focus on the following:

* Price change information as of Jan. 27, 2013.

* Intelligent mail barcodes.

* Delivery standards.

* Other USPS changes.

* Mail-piece design including tabbing; folded, self-mailers; and booklets.

During the seminars, handouts will be provided to attendees. There will be a question-and-answer session at the end of each seminar.
