Prescription information now available through Castlight

Faculty and staff covered by a Purdue medical plan can now see their prescriptions, too, within Castlight. The addition of prescription information makes Castlight a more robust tool for managing health care.
Castlight has partnered with Purdue's pharmacy benefits manager, Express Scripts (formerly known as Medco), to make Castlight's online service a one-stop shop for reviewing pharmacy spending and receiving personalized pharmacy recommendations. Now employees can review their pharmacy spending in Castlight and seamlessly connect to Express Scripts to order refills.
"We've heard from Purdue employees how simple it is to find and compare doctors on cost and quality through Castlight," says Becky Gutwein, medical benefits manager in Human Resources. "Now employees have the added convenience of being able to manage their pharmacy benefits through Castlight, too."
