Preparation for the 79th annual Purdue Christmas Show, the first performance of which is less than a week away, has been ongoing for more than 10 months.
It takes a lot of planning and preparation to ensure that the four-performance show goes off without a hitch, says Steve Hall, director of Hall of Music Productions. Planning the show's concept, designing its set pieces and outlining its musical numbers begins in February; construction of set pieces begins in May and loading the set pieces onto the Elliott Hall of Music stage begins in mid-November.
