Office of Marketing and Media wins national design awards

Purdue's Office of Marketing and Media on Oct. 14 will receive three awards from the University & College Designers Association (UCDA) for outstanding graphic design work.

For its 2012 design competition, UCDA received 1,100 entries and awarded four gold awards, nine silver awards and 150 awards of excellence. The competition was open to any work designed, published or used by an educational institution. Publication must have occurred from July 1, 2011, to June 30, 2012.

Marketing and Media won awards of excellence for work appearing in Life 360, the annual College of Health and Human Sciences magazine; an ad titled "Dream Maker," published in the February issue of Indianapolis Woman; and THiNK Magazine, the annual College of Liberal Arts magazine.

The awards will be presented Oct. 14 during the UCDA conference in Montreal.
