November President's Forum to focus on innovation, commercialization

The third President’s Forum of the fall semester will feature a panel discussion on innovation and commercialization. The forum is scheduled for 8-9:30 a.m. Nov. 6 in Purdue Memorial Union, South Ballroom.
Acting President Tim Sands will provide opening remarks. A panel on innovation and commercialization at Purdue will be chaired by Richard Cosier, the Avrum and Joyce Gray Director of the Burton D. Morgan Center for Entrepreneurship and Leeds Professor of Management.
Panelists will be Gerry McCartney, vice president for information technology, chief information officer, Olga Oesterle England Professor of Information Technology, and inaugural director of Purdue's Innovation and Commercialization Center; Elizabeth Hart-Wells, assistant vice president at the Purdue Research Foundation and director of its Office of Technology Commercialization; and John Hertig, executive director of ICC/Purdue Biomedical Technology Incubator.
Those attending the forum are encouraged to bring questions and join the discussion.
