Meetings set to gather input on revision to academic probation, drop regulation

The Academic Progress and Records Committee is holding two town hall meetings in November to gather feedback on a proposed change to Purdue's regulations and procedures regarding academic probation and dropping of students for scholastic deficiency.

Faculty, academic advisors and students are invited to meetings at the following times:

* Nov. 15 (Th). Noon-1 p.m. Lawson Computer Science Building, Room 1142.

* Nov. 27 (T). 10:30 a.m.-noon. Lawson Computer Science Building, Room 1142.

Input also may be sent to Lesa Beals in the Office of the Registrar at lbeals@purdue.edu.

The Academic Progress and Records Committee reports to the University Senate's Educational Policy Committee.
