Job applicant tracking system Taleo will undergo upgrade

Talent Acquisition in Human Resources announces the upcoming migration of Taleo from version 7.5 to version 12. The applicant tracking system will be unavailable from 5 p.m. Monday (Oct. 8) until approximately 5 p.m. Tuesday (Oct. 9), and no users will be able to log in during that time.

Taleo will have a new look for hiring managers and recruiters, with increased capabilities as well as color and layout changes. The update should make navigation simpler. Job seekers will not experience much change, although the upgrade will add some abilities for third-party login and mobile capabilities. 

Once the upgrade is complete, users will be able to access Taleo from Mac operating systems, as well as the Safari and Firefox browsers, making the application more accessible to a wider range of users.

An updated supervisor's guide will be added to the Purdue Careers website. Hiring managers can also request additional training from their designated Talent Acquisition team or HR staff member. If you have any questions about the upgrade, contact Brenda Coulson at 49-40603 or bcoulson@purdue.edu
