Procession for fallen soldier to come through campus

Purdue faculty, staff and students may pay their respects today (Sept, 27) to a local soldier killed in Afghanistan.

The body of U.S. Army Sgt. Kyle Osborn will arrive at Purdue University Airport this morning. Those who wish to show their support are asked to line State Street at approximately 10 a.m., when the procession from the airport to a private funeral service will come through campus.

Osborn, a Clarks Hill native and 2005 McCutcheon grad, was killed in Afghanistan on Sept. 13. He was 26.
