WorkLife Programs provides supervisory resources, training

June 28, 2012

Human Resources WorkLife Programs is making an electronic newsletter geared toward supervisors available to the University community.

The first two issues of Frontline Supervisor are available at www.purdue.edu/hr/audience/managerssupervisors.html#Worklife. A new issue will be available each month.

In addition, WorkLife Programs is offering training to familiarize managers and supervisors with Employee Assistance.

The educational sessions can be scheduled at the request of a department or area. Topics of discussion will include the benefits of Employee Assistance, how managers and supervisors can work with Employee Assistance and how to utilize Employee Assistance as a management tool.

Cheryl Laszynski, worklife administrator, will review all the counseling and consultation services available to managers and their staff, as well as the work-life services and resources managers can access to assist their employees to become their best.

To schedule a session, interested managers may email Laszynski at claszynski@purdue.edu or call 49251.
