State Street to have lane restrictions

June 21, 2012

Lanes will be restricted on State Road 26 (State Street on campus) from Russell Street west to just past Airport Road until mid-July for repairing and repaving.

When possible, motorists are asked to avoid the area. When travel through the area is necessary, motorists should exercise caution and expect delays.

In another area of campus, beginning today (June 21), the sidewalk on the south side of Third Street between Russell Street and Martin Jischke Drive will be closed for about a week to accommodate utility work. Westbound walking traffic will be directed either north or south at the southwest corner of Third Street and Russell Street. Eastbound walking traffic will be directed south to First Street at the southeast corner of Martin Jischke Drive and Third Street.

A summary of campus and nearby construction, including maps, is at https://www.purdue.edu/physicalfacilities/construction_notices.html. That page has links to individual construction notices, and the selected listings below may include the same links. Physical Facilities updates this information regularly and recommends not relying on information more than two weeks old. Weather conditions and other factors play a significant role in progress on projects.
