March 29, 2012

The Executive Policy Review Group (EPRG) took action on several systemwide policies at its March meeting.

Following is a list of new or revised policies effective April 1.

* Anti-Harassment (III.C.1)
Updates to this policy were made to include language specifically pertaining to sexual exploitation and sexual violence and to refer all complaints under the policy to the Procedures for Resolving Complaints of Discrimination and Harassment.

* IT Resource Acceptable Use (VI.A.2)
This policy was updated from its 2004 version and reformatted into the current policy template.

* Research Faculty Appointment and Promotion (VI.F.8)
This new policy combines and revises University Senate document 04-4 and the subsequent guidelines issued by the Office of the Vice President for Research. It outlines the terms and conditions for appointing and promoting research faculty.

In addition, the policy on Time Off for Voting (VPBS 90), which was based on an Indiana law that has since been repealed, was withdrawn.
