CIE workshop to focus on encouraging students to write

A Center for Instructional Excellence workshop will focus on incorporating writing into students' educational experience.

"How Can We Get Our Students to Write?" will be held 1:30-3 p.m. Feb. 1 in Stewart Center, Room 310. Josh Boyd, associate professor of communication, will lead the workshop.

Boyd will share the techniques he uses in his large communication classes as well as in grading large numbers of writing assignments efficiently.
