Equal Access/Equal Opportunity briefing scheduled for faculty, staff

The Office of the Vice President for Ethics and Compliance will hold an Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the ADA Amendments Act briefing for faculty and staff on Aug. 11 in Rawls Hall, Room 1071.

The Americans with Disabilities Act and the ADA Amendments Act briefing represents Phase II of the Equal Access/Equal Opportunity Briefing Initiative, which started at Purdue more than three years ago.
  
Phase II focuses on the area of disabilities in order to communicate changes to the law brought about in 2009 that affect employers such as Purdue with increasing numbers of individuals with disabilities. Purdue seeks to ensure that all members of our community are treated equitably and respectfully.
