July offerings from WorkLife Programs focus on money management, weight
WorkLife Programs classes coming up in the next few weeks will focus on weight and money management.
* Money in the Mattress
July 20. 12:10-12:50 p.m. Stewart Center, Room 318.
David Akers, Purdue extension specialist, will offer practical tips to address the fiscal responsibilities that baby boomers face, such as children, college and aging parents.
* Weight Watchers at Work
July 21-Oct. 6. Noon-1 p.m. Physics Building, Room 298.
For those either looking to achieve significant, long-term weight loss or just trying to shed a few pounds, Weight Watchers at Work can help effect a lifestyle change to assist with that goal. If a participant's Body Mass Index (BMI) is over 25, WorkLife Programs will pay for half of the $144 class fee if participants attend 11 of 12 meetings. Participants are eligible for two of these incentive rounds in their lifetime.
