Equal Access/Equal Opportunity briefings scheduled for supervisors
The Office of Institutional Equity will hold Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the ADA Amendments Act briefings for supervisors in March.
The sessions will be held at the following times and locations:
* March 21 -- 9-10:30 a.m. Civil Engineering Building, Room 2123.
* March 23 -- 2-3:30 p.m. Mechanical Engineering Building, Room 119.
* March 28 -- 9-10:30 a.m. Beering Hall of Liberal Arts and Education, Room 1245.

The Americans with Disabilities Act and the ADA Amendments Act session represents Phase II of the Equal Access/Equal Opportunity Briefing Initiative started at Purdue three years ago.
Phase II focuses on the area of disabilities in order to communicate changes to the law brought about in 2009 that affect employers such as Purdue with increasing numbers of individuals with disabilities. Purdue seeks to ensure that all members of our community are treated equitably and respectfully.
