Reference guide shows what's covered as preventive care on Purdue medical plans

March  3, 2011
In-network preventive care is covered 100 percent by all three of Purdue's medical plans. "The care costs the employee nothing," says John Beelke, director of Purdue Benefits. "No deductible, no coinsurance, no copay."

To help employees understand what is considered preventive care, CIGNA has prepared a quick reference guide that is available on the Purdue Benefits website at www.purdue.edu/hr/Benefits/Medical/Welcome.html.

"We really want to encourage Purdue employees to review the guide, and then get the appropriate preventive care for themselves and their covered dependents," says Beelke. "This benefit can be a lifesaver."
