Focus Award nominations for disability efforts invited

The Office of Institutional Equity is seeking nominations for the 2011 Focus Awards.

The Focus Awards are given annually to those affiliated with Purdue who have made an outstanding contribution in furtherance of the University’s commitment to disability accessibility and disability diversity initiatives. 

Focus Awards will be presented at the Disability Awareness Month reception scheduled for 10 a.m. March 1  in the West Faculty Lounge, Purdue Memorial Union. One award is offered in each of the following categories: faculty, staff, student and organization. Nominations of alumni and retirees also will be considered within the appropriate category.

To submit a nomination for the 2011 Focus Award, complete and return the nomination form and attachments by Jan. 31 to Marcy Hintzman, Office of Institutional Equity, Ernest C. Young Hall, 10th Floor.
