Library Scholars Grant Program accepting applications

The Library Scholars Grant Program, administered by Purdue University Libraries, is accepting proposals for 2010-11.

The program focuses on supporting access to unique collections of information found around the country and the world. The grant is available for untenured tenure-track members of the Purdue faculty and associate professors tenured effective July 1, 2008, or later.

Awards of up to $5,000 will be made, and grant-supported activities will be completed by Dec. 31, 2011. Grant funds can be used for expenses associated with travel to archives or collections beyond Purdue. This includes the cost of transportation, lodging, meals and fees charged by the library or other collection owners for access, photocopying or scanning.
