CIE workshop to cover the topic of 'tough love' in the classroom

October 13, 2010
A workshop called "Tough Love and Behavior in the Classroom," sponsored by the Center for Instructional Excellence, will be held at 9-10:30 a.m. on Oct. 21 in Room 322, Stewart Center.

The workshop will feature Pete Bill, director of the veterinary technology program.

Bill will explain how to hold students to high expectations by clearly communicating academic and behavioral expectations, providing a road map for achievement and enforcing those expectations (that’s the tough love part).
