Bloom serving as interim director for Office of Institutional Equity

Monica Bloom, assistant director for conflict resolution, has been selected to serve as interim director for the Office of Institutional Equity.

The appointment became effective July 1. Bloom will serve in the interim role until a successor is selected.

Bloom has been assistant director for the last three years. In her new role, she will have responsibility to promote affirmative action plans, goals and commitments; to sponsor campus-wide educational programs on affirmative action, equal opportunity, equal access, nondiscrimination and related issues; and to coordinate compliance with federal and state reporting requirements.
