Program offers information for those approaching retirement age

Faculty and staff who are approaching the age of retirement have received invitations to a special program focusing on preparation for retirement.
   
The Road to Retirement program is sponsored by Human Resources and is presented twice each year for faculty and staff ages 55 and older.
   
Speakers at the program focus on what employees should be considering when approaching retirement; retirement procedures and timing; how benefits work together in retirement; medical and life insurance options; and what it is like to be retired.
   
In addition to group sessions, representatives from PERF, TIAA-CREF, and Fidelity will be available for one-on-one assistance and personalized information for participants.
   
Those who are interested in learning about retirement income options and the benefits of being an official retiree are strongly encouraged to enroll in this valuable and informative program.
