Forums set for CLA dean candidates

Four candidates for the position of dean of the College of Liberal Arts will present open forums during the next couple of weeks.

The forums will be open to students and to faculty, staff and the public. The candidates and the forum dates are as follows:

* April 26 (M). Laurence Alexander, associate dean of the University of Florida Graduate School, University of Florida. 4-5:30 p.m. Room 202, Stewart Center.

* April 28 (W). Irwin Weiser, interim dean of the College of Liberal Arts, Purdue University. 10-11:30 a.m. Room 302, Stewart Center.

* May 3 (M). Henry Fradella, chair of the Department of Criminal Justice, California State University, Long Beach. 4-5:30 p.m. Room 214, Stewart Center.

* May 6 (Th). Carol Richardson, dean of the College of Letters, Arts and Social Sciences, California State Polytechnic University. 4-5:30 p.m. Room 202, Stewart Center.
