Changes to University's FMLA policy

At its April 9 meeting, the Executive Policy Review Group approved revisions to the University's Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) policy (IV.10.1). The revisions, which include expanded provisions for service members in the Armed Forces and employees who care for service members, stem from updates to the FMLA by Congress. In addition, many of the related documents and forms have been updated.
The revised policy was effective Monday (April 19). Read a memo about the policy from Luis Lewin, vice president for human resources.
