Space shuttle launch: Watch with College of Science
The College of Science invites the Purdue community to cheer on astronaut and alumnus Andrew Feustel and watch the final launch of the space shuttle Endeavour from 3:15 to 4:30 p.m. on Friday (April 29) at the Lawson Computer Science Building commons.
Feustel, who earned bachelor's and master's degrees from Purdue in the Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences, is a mission specialist and is scheduled to perform three spacewalks during the NASA mission to the International Space Station.
The launch is scheduled for 3:47 p.m. The event is free and open to the public, and light refreshments will be served.
