Purdue Women's Club lecture open to the public

The Purdue Women's Club will celebrate Women's History Month on March 3 with a lecture by Susan Bulkeley Butler and Sammie Morris.

The lecture, which is free and open to the public, will begin at 1 p.m. in Room 206, Stewart Center.

Butler, a Purdue alumna (BS in industrial management, 1965) and former Purdue trustee, will address leadership development. Butler is the founder and CEO of Susan Bulkeley Butler Institute for the Development of Women Leaders, an organization dedicated to mentoring women. She also is the author of "Become the CEO of You, Inc.: A Pioneering Executive Shares Her Secrets for Career Success." 

Morris, head of the Division of Archives and Special Collections and assistant professor of library science, will speak about and provide a guided viewing of the George Palmer Putnam Collection of Amelia Earhart Papers.
