Scholar to discuss integrating critical thinking into the classroom
The Center for Instructional Excellence has invited noted scholar Patti Clayton to campus to speak on incorporating critical thinking into college classes.
In her talk on March 10, Clayton will explain the opportunities and challenges associated with integrating critical thinking and reflection into student learning. Besides being a speaker at the national level, Clayton is the senior scholar for the Center for Service and Learning, Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis.
A morning workshop will be at 9-11 a.m., and an afternoon open forum will be at 1-3:30 p.m.
