Counseling resources available to help faculty and staff in wake of shooting

Faculty and staff who would like to talk with a counselor about Tuesday's fatal shooting on campus are encouraged to contact any of the resources below for free assistance. Counseling can be provided on an individual or group basis, depending on the individual's preference.

"We're supplementing the University's existing employee assistance resources to ensure that the many and varied needs of faculty and staff who have been impacted by the tragedy are met," says Luis E. Lewin, vice president for human resources.

Counseling is available through the following:

Purdue West Shopping Center, 1400 W. State St.
Call 49-40111 or walk in for service, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Call 49-41679. 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Lafayette Crisis Center
Call 742-0244. 24-hour help available.
