Workshop offered for nursery and greenhouse businesses

VALPARAISO, Ind. – Purdue Extension and the Northwest Indiana Floriculture Association will co-sponsor an educational program for nursery and greenhouse businesses owners and employees Thursday (Sept. 9) in Demotte.

The program at Kingma Greenhouses, 1308 N. Halleck St., will run from 5:30-8 p.m. CDT.

Participants will tour the greenhouses and learn about overwintering potted herbaceous perennials from Purdue Extension floriculture specialist Roberto Lopez and graduate student Chris Currey.
