Media to tour Purdue exhibits at state fair Aug. 6
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - There will be a 10 a.m. media tour of Purdue University educational exhibits in the Pioneer Our Land Pavilion on opening day of the Indiana State Fair on Aug. 6.
Chuck Hibberd, director of Purdue Extension, will conduct the tour. Journalists interested in attending can meet Hibberd at the Purdue information booth inside the pavilion.
The 10 exhibits include topics such as climate change, social networking, gardening, diet and exercise, and robotics. Descriptions of all exhibits are at http://www.ag.purdue.edu/agcomm/Documents/2010-Exhibits.pdf
