Purdue Libraries to extend hours as students prep for finals

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Purdue University Libraries will extend hours at three facilities to help students prepare for final exams. The John W. Hicks Undergraduate Library will be open around the clock during the last two weeks of the semester, from Dec. 4-17. The Hicks Undergraduate Library opens at 1 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4, and will close at 5 p.m. Dec. 17.
The Siegesmund Engineering Library will be open continuously starting Sunday, Dec. 4, at 11 a.m. through Saturday, Dec. 17 at 5 p.m.
The Humanities, Social Science and Education Library will be open until 2 a.m. Sunday through Thursday during finals week, Dec. 11-15.
All other libraries will remain open normal hours. The Roland G. Parrish Library of Management & Economics will remain closed throughout the semester and reopen during the Spring 2012 semester.
The locations with extended hours will serve coffee and refreshments periodically during finals week.
