October 26, 2010

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Purdue University Libraries on Thursday (Oct. 28) will host "Tales of Terror," a presentation by Paul Addison, director of the Civic Theatre of Greater Lafayette's "Tour of Terror."

The Halloween-themed program will offer excerpts of "chilling, gruesome and historically researched tales of horrible accidents, mayhem, and murder!" The event will take place at 7 p.m. in the John W. Hicks Undergraduate Library, Room B848. Addison's presentation will replace that of author Wanda Lou Willis, who canceled.

The program is part of the Libraries' recent exhibit "The Golden Age: Indiana Literature (1880-1920)," showcasing George Ade, Booth Tarkington and John T. McCutcheon's ties to Purdue and the pivotal role those noted authors played at the university.
